DoreenFORDYCEThe family and closest friends of the late Doreen Fordyce would like to offer our sincere thanks to the many people who showed great affection, kindness, loyalty and support during Doreen's lifetime and her recent illness and in the time since she left us on 31 March 2020. For the well organised and compassionate medical care of Doreen, we are truly indebted to staff at:- Dr King, Anchor Medical Practice, Paisley; Royal Alexandra Infirmary, Paisley; Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow; New Victoria Hospital, Glasgow; Beatson Hospital, Glasgow; Dr Geider, Camphill Wellbeing Trust, Aberdeen, Dr Prentice, Albyn Medical Practice, Aberdeen; Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, certain few at Orthopaedic Rehabilitation Unit, Woodend, Aberdeen and teams of District Nurses, Aberdeen. For their efficient, dignified and extremely sensitive approach to every aspect, we are so grateful to Cameron and his staff of Norman Will, Funeral Directors Ltd, Turriff, Aberdeenshire and also to Gayle Thores at Bliss, Turriff, for beautiful wreaths and flowers provided. We are greatly appreciative of the detail and professionalism of the staff, organist and Minister at Doreen's onward journey, at Baldarroch Crematorium, Crathes on Easter Monday 13 April 2020 and we are sorry that you did not get the opportunity to celebrate Doreen's life on earth due to the Pandemic restrictions placed on us all. Finally, thank you to all Doreen's friends, ex colleagues and to all who visited, called or sent cards, e-mails, flower arrangements, during her illness and her last few days and, following her passing, offered and provided assistance and words of sympathy to us or tributes to Doreen which were very special to all of us.
